The Almaty office is located on the western side of the city at Nauryz 34, Kyrgauyldy, Kazakhstan.
The Bishkek office was the first Iron Horse Nomads office to open. Ryan, the company founder, moved to Kyrgyzstan in 2012 and after a year of teaching English opened Iron Horse Nomads. Building on his background as a car and motorcycle nut, IHN quickly became one of the largest car rental and tour companies in Kyrgyzstan. Today the Bishkek office has a 3 bay mechanic’s workshop, a large fleet of cars ranging from Economy Cars to Expedition 4x4s as well as BMW motorcycles and Honda scooters. It is staffed by a team who are passionate about travel and cars.
Mark started the Iron Horse Nomads Almaty branch in 2016. He grew up in the farm country of eastern Oklahoma. Since then he has lived in eastern Mongolia and Kazakhstan. He speaks Kazakh and is learning Russian. Not only is Mark very familiar with Central Asia, he is also a certified master mechanic who ran his own shop in the US for years. Mark is committed to providing excellent service and a great introduction to Kazakhstan.
